This is how I think…

…about everything.

For some reason, I have an unquenchable thirst for truth.

Why?

Because that’s when I feel the most alive.

My Story

It all started when my Father and Mother met in South Korea some 23 years ago and let their emotions ride. My Mother likes to think I chose her (in spirit), but I’m pretty sure it took something special to put my body in existence.

My Father’s work constantly had me moving all over the world until I found some resemblance of stability in the good ole state of Texas where I spent most of my childhood and early adult years.

I spent these years as any other child would. Confused. Guided by my overly logical ambition, I ended up with a college degree in Business and a desire to change the world.

Then suddenly I broke the chains and somehow managed to quit my first full time job after 4 months.

And life since then has been a blur.

I’ve had failed business attempts, but then make my entire years salary in just 1 month. I’ve worked 18 hour days to only discover what I could accomplish in 2. I realized the more you learn, the more you know nothing. I discovered that when you’re really on your own, the only constant you can expect is change.

The way I see it is that quitting my job was the beginning of my life, and I’m now in the third phase.

TypeCarl.com was the first phase. A struggling entrepreneur living with his parents with a strong desire for freedom.
